On behalf of the Steps for Survival Committee we would like to thank you all for your very generous gifts, donations and participation !
Your commitment to helping us in the fight against breast cancer in our community is sincerely appreciated.
This was our 4th Annual Event and each year Steps for Survival continues to advance its goals and will continue making many more thriving “Steps” with your help and support. Together we do make a difference !
This year’s highlight of the evening was a Fashion Showcase of bathing suits by Phoenix 365 for women who had undergone various forms of breast surgery. Audrey Fey, who recently co-founded Phoenix 365, created an especially becoming and feminine line, which was modeled by breast cancer survivors. It was a beautiful, very emotional and inspiring part of the evening that reminded each of us of the importance of supporting the spirit and strength of women in their fight against breast cancer. We wish Audrey and her business partner Sheren Castagna all the best in their endeavor to make many women look and feel even more beautiful. And then last but certainly not least we would like to salute all of our amazing volunteers who have contributed their time to assist the Steps for Survival team with this year’s event. We couldn’t have done it without your help !
All in all we enjoyed a very uplifting and fun-filled evening, which took place at the beautiful and elegant Alpine Country Club and the club and its wonderful team also made sure to cater to everyone’s needs and the setting was simply lovely.
We are looking forward to next year’s event at the same place on October 7th, 2010.
